Little Sadie is excited to learn her first of many of her families Gulla Geechee recipes from her Nona (Grandmother) BJ. Her family are African Descendants and have a close relationship with the earth and ancestors who they believe becomes their spirit guides and guardian angles once they transition to the other side. Today Nona BJ was going to teach her hot to make hot water cornbread  and butter from scratch. This is her first recipe. Swinging and Smiling 

1. Floras shoes are way too small and she is struggling to put them on her feet. 
2. Mom looks in her wallet and there is no money so she improvises and come up with creative ideas. 
3. Mom and Flora craft a pair of shoes for Flora using their hands and materials from around the house. 
4. They gather supplies from around the house, Tape, scissors, yarn, paint, brushes, rulers, plastic, carboard, and much more. 
5. They love their creation. 
6. Flora was nervous about wearing her new shoes to school but everyone ended up liking them. 
7. Floras bed breaks because she was jumping on it while listening to music. 
8. Mom doesnt have money to buy a new bed so they have to make one themsleves and be creative. 
9. Flora wants a new phone but they cant afford one so mom and flora make one of their own. 
10. Flora enjoys the dance in her amazing dress. 
11. Flora is gradually getting older throughout the story. When she makes the bed and shoes she is in elementary school. When she makes the phone she is in middle school. When she makes the dress she is in highschool. 
12. Floras mom finally has money and is super happy but flora doesnt want to use the money because she fell in love with creative and making stuff instead of just buying stuff.

Deep in the sparkling blue ocean, Starfish Sam lived on a cozy coral reef. Every morning, Sam loved to wake up with a big stretch. "Today, I’m going to teach my ocean friends some yoga!" Sam decided with a happy flip.

Page 2:
Sam called out to his friends—Daisy the Dolphin, Ollie the Octopus, and Tilly the Turtle. "Let’s start our day with some Ocean Yoga!" Sam said. "Yoga helps us feel strong, calm, and ready for fun!"

First, Sam showed them the Seahorse Stretch. "Stand tall like a seahorse, with your back straight and your head up high. Take a deep breath in... and then out!" Sam demonstrated, and his friends followed, feeling the gentle stretch.

Next, they all tried the Wave Flow. "Pretend you’re a wave," Sam said. "As you breathe in, raise your arms up like a wave rising high. As you breathe out, let your arms flow back down." Daisy, Ollie, and Tilly swayed like ocean waves, feeling peaceful and light.

Finally, Sam introduced his favorite, Starfish Breathing. "Let’s make a star shape with our bodies," Sam instructed. They spread their arms and legs wide. "Now, let’s trace our star," Sam said, "Breathe in as you trace up one arm, and breathe out as you go down the next."

Page 6:
As they traced their star shapes, breathing in and out, everyone felt calm and relaxed. "Yoga helps us feel like we’re floating on a gentle wave," Sam said with a smile. "It’s the best way to start our day!"

Page 7:
When they finished, they all lay down on the soft, sandy sea floor in the Resting Reef Pose. "This is how we end our yoga," Sam whispered. "Just close your eyes and listen to the ocean’s lullaby."

As the waves whispered around them, Sam and his friends felt happy and peaceful. "Yoga with friends is so much fun," they all agreed. "Let’s do it again tomorrow!"

And with that, they drifted off into a restful, dreamy sea, ready for a day filled with ocean adventures.

1.  While exploring the Armor of God, John Jr and Durga came across the Breastplate of righteousness.  They wanted to learn more about wearing the Breastplate of righteousness
2.  John Jr told Durga that the Breastplate of righteousness armor protects your heart from sin and attacks from the enemy. To be righteous means to obey God's commandments and live in a way that honors Him. 
3.  John Jr and Durga decided that they would 
make right choices, by saying no to temptation. They will have the courage to stand up to evil and do the right thing. 
4. Righteousness means we are right with God. John Jr told Durga by  putting on the breastplate of righteousness, they are protecting their hearts from sin and learning to be righteous- right before God.
5..  John Jr and Durga thought of ways they could be more righteous.  They decided they would live with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with and forgiving each other. And bind them together with love.

She wanted the children, her heart full of greed,  
But their father Adoola would not let her succeed.

Adoola, so strong, with a sword in hand,  
Defeated the witch, made her leave the land.  
Sanana, their mother, with a heart full of grace,  
Joined Adoola to keep their family safe.

Together they soared to a castle in the sky,  
Where magic and wonder filled every eye.  
Aryan and Arman on cheetahs took flight,  
While unicorns carried the girls with delight.

The family now safe, with hearts full of cheer,  
Lived happily ever after, with nothing to fear.  
In the magical castle, under the bright blue dome,  
They found love, laughter, and a perfect home.

Adventures of Arman

1.  John Jr and Yuēhàn came across a war that not as popular as other American wars called the Great Sioux War of 1876.   The dug a bit deeper and uncovered more information about this war.
2.  John Jr and Yuēhàn found out that The Great Sioux War of 1876,, was a series of battles and negotiations that occurred in 1876 and 1877 in an alliance of Lakota Sioux and Northern Cheyenne against the United States. The cause of the war was the desire of the US government to obtain ownership of the Black Hills. Gold had been discovered in the Black Hills, settlers began to encroach onto Native American lands, and the Sioux and the Cheyenne refused to cede ownership. Traditionally, American military and historians place the Lakota at the center of the story, especially because of their numbers, but some Native Americans believe the Cheyenne were the primary target of the American ccampaign.
3.  John Jr gave Yuēhàn some information on The battle, which resulted in the defeat of U.S. forces,  that was the most significant action of the Great Sioux War of 1876.The Battle of the Little Bighorn, and commonly referred to as Custer's Last Stand, was an armed engagement between combined forces of the Lakota Sioux, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes and the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. It took place on June 25–26, 1876, along the Little Bighorn River in the Crow Indian Reservation in southeastern Montana Territory.
4.  John Jr , Yuēhàn and John Jr's parents went for a weekend visit to  the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation located in Montana.  John Jr and Yuēhàn enjoyed learning about the Cheyenne Indians culture and traditions.

Leo, Maya, and Alex were best friends who loved everything about space. One day, they got the most exciting news: they had been chosen to become junior astronauts and go on a mission to the Moon aboard The Star Voyager! They couldn't wait to start their adventure.

At the Space Academy, they trained with Commander Vega, learning how to pilot the spacecraft, put on space suits, and even float in zero gravity. The Moon was their destination, and they were eager to see it up close.

On launch day, the trio suited up in their shiny silver space suits and boarded The Star Voyager. As the countdown began—“Ten... nine... eight..."—their excitement grew. "Three... two... one... Blast off!" The rocket roared to life and shot into the sky, taking them on a journey beyond Earth.

After a smooth flight, they reached the Moon. The surface was dusty and gray, covered with craters of all sizes. As they landed, Leo, Maya, and Alex couldn’t believe their eyes. The Moon was even more incredible than they had imagined!

They put on their helmets and stepped outside. The first thing they noticed was how light they felt. The Moon’s gravity is only about one-sixth of Earth’s, so they could jump really high and far. They laughed as they bounced around, leaving footprints in the Moon dust.

As they explored, they learned some amazing facts. The Moon doesn’t have any air, so there’s no wind or weather to change its surface. That’s why the footprints they made would stay there for thousands of years! They also discovered that the Moon has no light of its own—it only shines because it reflects light from the Sun.

Leo, Maya, and Alex also visited a huge crater called Tycho. They marveled at the steep walls and rocky surface. Commander Vega explained that the craters were formed by meteoroids crashing into the Moon long ago. They even saw some Moon rocks, which looked different from the rocks on Earth because of the lack of atmosphere.

Kallen and Sophia Learn About Nonfiction Text Features

A story describing how milo the monkey learnt skateboarding with all struggles and found his passion. Then he participated in jungle olympics but lost due to overconfidence. He left all hopes but his friends pushed him to learn from his mistakes and come up again as a champion by acing the biggest jungle sporting event. He then realised importance of friends/family, hardwork and perseverance. And most of all need for humility and focus on goals while respecting outcome as way of learning new things. Now he is successful coach and icon for other jungle animals.
